The HERO team is excited to share a summary of results from a year of Hot Topic surveys, which ask healthcare workers and their family and community members questions about timely topics of interest related to COVID-19. Topics address impacts HERO participants have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and impacts on their health and wellbeing. “By shedding light on the experiences of the HERO community, we hope to better understand their challenges and identify solutions through research that can help continue the fight against COVID-19,” said Emily O’Brien, PhD, principal investigator for the HERO Registry. The HERO research team return results back to participants while also sharing with the public, researchers, partner organizations, the scientific community, and media to recognize the impacts of the pandemic on the healthcare community at home and at work.
